To access a few of the mounting bolts, dropping the tank would have been required. Unsure if the aftermarket skid prevented access, or if that's a normal procedure for all TJs.asauer17 wrote:nice! I was looking into getting that tire carrier.... But you had to drop the fuel tank?! really?!

No worries, Im sure there will be other occasions.Modeler wrote:Looking great Jim. Wish I could have been there.
No problem, one thing I do tend to forget is to take pics during builds of things. I always seem to remember at the end that it should have happened lol.Frank wrote:Thanks Jim . FjR68
yup def a small pain, but it looks good on the jeep, works fairly well empty, I can report back once it has a tire on it and is fully mounted and greased. As for the fuel tank drop I should know more in the near future on that once we can actually put those in and see how much room is needed.asauer17 wrote:nice! Well the Jeep is still there and odds are there will still be work happening so I can certainly let you know when I am heading up there to work on it again. I know ill be up there on Sat but not sure how much work will get done vs planning happening so that parts can be ordered.ImNotCassie wrote:Looks like a lot got done.
