I have a dual battery setup in my jeep, and I need to replace the main yellow top. I would go with a different brand but the mounts I have are specific to optimas and will be a giant PIA to change.
Question: I was told once the optimas are manufactured in different locations, and the auto parts stores get the crappy ones but there are quality optimas out there. How can I tell the difference and source a quality optima?

Re: Optima batteries
The only issue Ive ever heard of is the RED top as they were moved south of the border. The yellow and blue have had solid reps from what Ive heard. FjR68

hmmm, ok. I thought they'd move all production down south but I'll do some more research. Thanks franky!
