More Skids ...
Can I get some help putting on some more skids before Rausch Creek? I have tried but things aren't lining up right and after attempting, removing, attempting and removing several times I just can't get it done. I feel like such a girly girl to have to ask. I'll bring homemade snacks!!

Re: More Skids ...
Don't forget, you may want to do diff fluids when you do the diff skids, especially noting the mileage of the jeep without a diff service. Not sure which axles you have, but look into Lube Lockers, they make removal and re-installation of the diff covers a breeze the next time you need to service the diffs.
2005 TJ, built and beat accordingly

Kurt, can we add this to the day? Thanks for reminding me, Dan, I have to get gaskets. Is that what you mean by lube lockers?

It's like Christmas with all this buying. I just bought longer cables for my bike so I can put the ape hangers on.

No problem. Just be sure to have enough diff oil to do the refill(s).ImNotCassie wrote: Kurt, can we add this to the day? Thanks for reminding me, Dan, I have to get gaskets. Is that what you mean by lube lockers?
BTW - Are we doing diff guard/skids/covers or something else?
What kind of diff skid? If it's an add on skid do you need longer bolts?

Re: More Skids ...
The diff skids are Rugged Ridge, just add-ons, they came with bolts. I realize now I should have gotten new covers, oh well. I have a gas tank and evap skid also. I'll pick up some oil.Kurt wrote:

Re: More Skids ...
Sounds like we'll have a busy day with all the skids.
Which gas tank skid did you get? Is it the type that goes over the existing skid or does it replace the existing skid?
