Question ?
I have the frame fixed and just received the poly bushing kit I ordered as mine went south . There are sleeves for the spring eye (big end) and none for the shackle end. Is there not a need for them in the small ones ? Those are the ones that disintegrated , twice now ! I have cross drilled 1/2" bolts (grease-able) so that shouldnt be the reason. Whats your take on this ? FjR68

Re: Question ?
I believe I have sleeves in all my leaf springs eyes and frame mounts on my YJ.
Part of the purpose of the sleeves is to limit how far the bolt gets tightened and limits how much the bushing gets smushed by the shackle or frame mount.
Maybe the grease used caused the bushings to breakdown?
If your bolts fit snugly in the bushings and you properly tighten them then I don't see a need for the sleeves.

Re: Question ?
The bolts do fit snug with resistance dry as you push them in while holding them . Daystar says impervious to grease ,oil, and a bunch of stuff (sunlight) . I will give it another shot. I do have sleeves from something else and may cut them down for width . Thanks FjR68
