Roof Rack Recommendations

Unread post by Nonestar »

All,

I'm looking to install a roof rack, preferably without drilling, that will manage Thule accessories and that fits a 2015 JK (2 door) soft top. I think I've narrowed it down to one from Garvin or Gobi, but I'm looking for feedback. Does anybody have any recommendations or experience with Jeep racks?

I have a Gobi on my 2D. Great rack and worth every penny I paid for it.
The cross bars are designed for Yakima mounts. Not sure if Thule has adapters for round bar.
Too many toys, not enough time.

Thanks; I think the Gobi is the winner so far. Apparently, the Thule mounts work with a round crossbar. What Gobi rack did you end up purchasing? Was there any drilling involved, or was this a relatively straightforward install?

I went with the Gobi Stealth with quick release, Hi-Lift mounts, axe/shovel (paddle) mounts and two removable crossbars for my Kayak racks.
No drilling or alterations at all.
Too many toys, not enough time.
