April 2nd Wrenchfest

Unread post by schwalby »

Need to get some more work done on the Jeep so it will be ready for GTD so hoping to bang out a few of these things. Listed in the order of how we would like to get them done in. Basically items that are needed to promote sponsors and make it the most usable. Don't expect to get it all done.

Replace front ABS sensor
Install drive shafts
Install windshield light bar
Install engine skid
Install gas tank skid
Install tranny skid
Install headlights
Install CB (entire system)
Wire Painless switch panel
Wire winch
Wire rocker lights
Wire rear lights
Wire windshield light bar
Install new muffler system
Install JKS quick disconnect
Install dual battery tray
Install dual batteries (if they ever arrive)

A friend has a shop that he said I could use, it has a new lift. It is in Barnstead NH, about an hour north of Nashua NH to give you an idea of where that is. So unfortunately not super close for many of you but hopefully people can make it.

I thought setup was 26th and ran date was 2nd.

Depending on timing and everything could see about just swapping "events" if weather is bad.

You're correct, 4/2 is our rain date for the setup.
OK - then I'm a definite maybe ;)

This Saturday, yay!!

The address for Mike's shop is:

7 Depot Rd
Barnstead NH

It can be a little tricky to find so I made these up.

When coming off of RT 28 the last turn you are going to want to make is at this store. GPS will probably try to get you to make a turn a 100' or so before this. If you do make the turn early not a big deal it will still bring you to the entrance of the "complex"

Image

The store is White Buffalo Trading Post as you can see in the below map. The map pin is where GPS will want you to go but you want to follow the red line all the way down. The "complex" is an old saw mill but kind of looks more like a set out of The Walking Dead. End of the building is where the overhead door and man door are located.

Image

For start time I was thinking 10am? I know it is a little bit of a drive for most people.

This is still on right Josh? Wasn't going to bring tools, unless you think I'll need them?
