Hutch did the first round of mods a while back. The most recent mods were done at Land Rover in Bedford. Sounds weird but a friend is the service manager there and got it all set up for me.

Just ordered my Trektop NX and Deck Cover. Now time to sell stuff I have laying around to recoup my boat savings. Thought about getting the bed rug setup but couldn't justify another $500. I'll stick with no carpets for a while longer.

So I have been having issues with my electronic sway bar disconnect pretty much since I started wheeling. It will work no problem for a few months then crap out. I pull it apart, clean it, reconnect it and poof it magically works for another 6 months or so. It just did it again recently so I decided to pull it completely off of the Jeep this time and do a thorough cleaning, lube job, resealing and reinstalling.

Took a few pics to show what the inside looks like when it gets mugged up. I can't believe how crappy it gets even though I RTV'd it shut and put grease on the inside. Anyway here is what a Rubicon Electronic Swaybart Disconnect Looks like if you haven't seen one.

I didn't take any after pictures as I just wanted to get it back on the Jeep and get out of the wind.

Im not a fan of using RTV with a gasket . Id use it without one. I only use ultra black as its the most impervious to oils and lubes. The other trick is to coat the surface and hand tighten the bolts just till it starts to squeeze out. So there is a gap left. You wait an hour or two then finish with the proper torque. It gives the RTV time to set up a bit before compression and makes a better seal. Its gotta be getting in somewhere. How about the other (outer) end. Is there a seal also ? FjR68
