Easiest way is to buy a fan clutch tool and a fan wrench (just a long skinny open ended wrench). A fan clutch tool is specific to each type of application. It is basically a flat metal "stick" that has two holes in it that you put over two of the fan clutch bolts. It holds the clutch while you turn the fan nut with the wrench.

That said, I don't have one either. I've made them in the past but not for my Jeep. I've used a long breaker bar and wedged it between the fan clutch bolts to prevent it from turning then use the fan wrench to spin it off. You can also use an air hammer to spin the nut, but that takes a little skill. If you get the corner of the nut you can make it turn. Just remember these are reverse threaded!

I would definitely replace the fan at this point. An off balance fan will do damage to your water pump.
