Cordless Drill / Impact Driver

I have been wanting a cordless impact driver for some time now and since we now have the trailer I am thinking it would be a good thing to have in it when traveling. Make a tire change a lot nicer. So was hoping for opinions on brand. I would like to stick to the brands Lowes offers because I get 10% off there.

Kobalt
Metabo
PORTER-CABLE
BLACK & DECKER
ROCKWELL

I am thinking the top three might be the only ones to consider.

Milwaukee Tool M18 Fuel 1/2" should be on your list too. It is the one I won in RI last year. I've been using it a lot lately and plan on bringing it to trail runs from here on.

That is out of my price range. Would like it but when the high end Dewalt ones are just under $200 I have to go more that price range.

DeWalt!! As a carpenter I've owned or used every major brand of cordless tools over the past 15 years. Milwaukee would be second. Dewalt has so many tools too. You could grab your 1/2" impact now and add on as you can. A few that could be handy would be drill, angle grinder, reciprocating saw, grease gun, 1/4" impact, floodlight, radio, welder, sheet metal shear, band saw. You could fix almost anything on the trail with all these!!

All I can say is stay away from Ryobi. They sucked me in with their "One" battery that fits everything. It doesn't.
