Mona been sitting for 7 months . Is it possible the that the power steering pump could gel or plug up from sitting ????? POS AGR pump whines (screams) when I try to turn either way with little to no assist in turning . Any way to add a conditioner or should I just put in the stock pump and be done widdit ? I never noticed any more power when turning like they advertised anyway ! All fluids are new last year as whole system was changed out to AGR junk. The box has already been changed out so I guess its time for the pump also. I run a cooler also. Any ideas ??? I wanna drive Sooooo bad ! FjR68

If you didn't notice any improvement with the AGR pump then then I'd just put the stock one back in and be back on the trails.

So I pull the pump and remove it from the res , pull the pulley and clean and inspect everything. Fluid is clean , parts are clean , no debris in res or relieve valve screen. Decide to put in the stock pump as my other (spare ) pump is an O-ring application and the new hoses are flare. Buy a seal kit for the pump , reinstall the pump into the res and get the pusher tool to install the pulley. There is a hardened bolt broken off in the shaft of the pump ! The tool needs to screw into that shaft ! Im soooooo in love with my Jeep right now . Im taking a day off FjR68

Frank -

Have you been cheating on Mona?? Is that why she seems to hate you so much? Maybe she just needs some good old-fashioned lovin'!

Pierced Steel Planking? Used it all the time in the military. Comes in handy for runways, landing pads, motor pools, etc.

It runs , It drives , It steers , It leaks oil like a shiv ! What a POS I own . It ran at least 15 heat cycles and changed out the PS pump . Not a drip anywhere ! Took it out for a half hour drive and now the rear main seal is leaking bad , Real bad ! I hate this Jeep . Some one make me a reasonable offer and Ill throw in the trailer. FjR68
