Good Morning from the South Shore
Hi everyone. Bought my first Jeep last year. 2014 JKU Altitude. Mods to date are mainly on the lighting end. Rigid D2 pillar lights, JW Speaker LED headlights and foglights. Looking forward to installing the leveling kit and bumper that have been sitting in my garage since winter. I mainly do the dunes of the Cape and Duxbury but I am looking to branch out into the trails. Had a lot of heavier lifted trucks on the trails over the years but never a Jeep. So far I wouldn't by anything else but another Jeep. So fun to drive and unbelievable in the snow. Thanks for having this forum and I look forward to seeing some of you out there!

Re: Good Morning from the South Shore
Hi ya, Grumpfish
Good to have another visitor from the South Shore. I'm in Holbrook, if you join the club maybe we can roll to the trails together. I've never been on the beaches around here - too expensive for my tastes. I run the dunes and beaches in North Carolina's Outer Banks, because the price is right - Free.
Welcome, and see you on the trails.

Holbrook?! We're practically neighbors! I'm in Whitman. I'm hitting Hatteras for the first time in July. I hear it's beautiful down there. Unfortunately for Massachusetts, if you want to play, you have to pay.......BIG.

Re: Good Morning from the South Shore
Yeah, lovely Massachusetts, where they take every penny they can get.
The Federal beaches in OBX require a permit, and I think that one's $50. That's new, I think it went into effect about 3 years ago. I avoid the pay beaches, and go up to Corolla. Plenty of beach up that way, and it's free to drive on. Leave the wildlife (including the horses) alone, and stay off the dunes where posted. Common sense. You can drive almost up to Virginia on the beach. I think the beaches south of Hatteras Village are free, too, as well as Ocrakoke if you take the ferry over there.

Huh ? We have a smiley fish , now a Grumpfish . Probably brothahs from anotah motha ! Welcome Grumpfish , hope you join the club. We have a blast and travel together. I used to do the cape years ago (Nausett & race Point) Then they started getting crazy with the money and restrictions. Saw some spectacular sunrises out there ! Jeepin is just a replacement hobby for me. After racing motor cycles , I now get my kicks at 1.8 mph ! Stay dirty my friend. FjR68
