johnny joints
There is a massive shortage of johnny joints in the US. Does anyone have access or have any in their shop?

Re: johnny joints
Nope all out everywhere it seems. The ones for control arms, apparently all the one made by Currie are floating on a container ship in the pacific. Of course once i decide on what kit I want it's unavailable and no one knows when they will come in. I might buy an evo longarm....

Re: johnny joints
Theres a guy in N.Y. selling a cut and weld to fit long arm kit from Clayton with everything you need. He was asking 600 ow down to 450 ! Its listed on N.E off road on Face Book. You could even make it a mid length kit with only 3" of lift. FjR68

Re: johnny joints
I searched for it but couldn't find the group or classifieds. Do you have a link? Thanks! The evo seems really solid too, apparently the strongest long arms and really refined king shocks and up-gradable to lever coil over system which is crazy looking.

One bit of advice. Don't change your build just because you don't want to wait a little longer. Jeep will be around for awhile and you dono't want to regret something for years because of a little delay.

Re: johnny joints
The two lifts are basically the same. It was basically a toss up with the clayton winning because the skids and cross member looked pretty and they are localish but I can still get the clayton crossmember and then use their skids with the EVO kit or the EVO skids... I also did order their rocker skins and slidders which seemed best because they just weld right to the frame and will not be going anyplace. So there is also the consistancy which would be nice, maybe a little OCD but it would be nice... I am also thinking of tack welding the nutserts instead of using the expansion tool so their is no chance of them spinning or getting loose, any thoughts?
