Deep Water Blue Pearl
Hi All!
Well, I am excited to announce that I did go and buy a Jeep to replace the minivan! Thanks again to all who introduced me to the crew on the trail ride. Hopefully I will be able to now "ride-along" but in my own jeep.
It took me a bit to find the exact model and price that I wanted. I wanted the 4-door JK, but I also wanted the extra side airbags. Plus I was looking for this particular shade of blue. Ride now everything is stock, although I have to admit that I am surprised at how big the stock tires are. They look twice as big as the minivan's. She is a 2009 with 80k miles, but so far she is in GREAT condition.
So, now the big question: what to mod first......?

Nice Greg! Glad to see I didn't completely terrify you. First mod... remove the plastic side steps, replace with rock sliders. Second, evap skid.

I concur on skids. Protect everything. Then lift it. I still have yet to do the protection and is the one thing I worry about most on the trail.
2005 TJ, built and beat accordingly

I agree with Jason, Loose the steps, add skids and then go up from there.

Application is in!
I will be able to go to the Great American jeep rally this weekend so hopefully I will see some of you guys there.
Unfortunately I have to work way too many weekends this fall, but hopefully I will be able to make it out to a few runs before winter.
