Incoming!
Hi all,
I bought my first Jeep in 2012 -- a JKU Sahara. I've done very little off-roading in the short time I've had my Jeep. I just sent in my application for BSJ -- and hope to join some of you for the 101 on April 12. I upgraded my stock tires/rims with 275/65-18 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As on KMC KD Addicts. At the time, this seemed like a 'safe bet' without requiring any mods, but looking back, I wish I'd gone a little bigger. My Jeep is otherwise stock, although I did add a Bestop bikini top (not really a mod, right?) for summer cruises in the Whites. I have some KC Hilites which I have not had a chance to install yet. Eventually, I'd like to add bumpers, side rails, a winch, and then perhaps a lift and bigger tires. I a looking forward to learning the trade from those who are more experienced than I.
Hope to meet some of you on the 12th.
Best,
Greg

Greg, I will post more pics of the TJ on the Clayton Lift when I can, without spoiling any fun I am having with the owner of it. Thanks for liking the page.

Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty.

Accepting a strap should not be embarrassing. Humbling, maybe.gregKnight66 wrote:Amanda - evites received! access to member section good too! requirements for wheeling have been rolling in. recovery straps came today. hopefully i dont embarrass myself and find myself needing them on the 12th -g
Breaking your stuff because you didn't take a strap early enough is truly embarrassing.
The people around you on the trail will appreciate good judgement and a safe recovery.
Re: Incoming!
What Mike said. Good trail etiquette is both knowing what your limits are, but trying to do better, and being patient while someone else tries to find their limits, and then helping them get out of spot their limits put them...
