Eletrical Harness Soldering

Unread post by schwalby »

Need some help. Another wire has broken or split enough for there to be a CEL on the Malibu. The issue is on the air intake sensor and it is really easy to get to, right on top near the passenger headlight. My step father and I fixed it once already but not sure if our repair held up or another one of the wires may have gone so can anyone help me out? Need someone that is much better at small gauge soldering then us and also if someone has a warm place to work that would be awesome. I can probably bring a propane torpedo heater if needed. Pizza and drinks will be provided by Jen and I.
Thanks!!

Josh - My garage is always available :)
It's a bit of a drive but I have the soldering equipment and a heated garage to work in.
I'll be home now thru Sunday so anytime is fine with me.

PM'd you

I'm closer and have all the tools, just no garage though. Should be home all weekend.

If you had the garage or it was warmer I would have just called you but since these are tiny wires don't think out doors would be fun. :\

Plus I get to check out Kurt's new trailer too :)
