Hi, I've been trolling the forums for 5 years and I just bought my first Jeep! I've got a little bit of experience wrecking another Jeep, but this one I plan to take care of. It's a 2013 Rubicon and it's currently 100% stock. I plan to do a 2.5" budget boost and add lots of skid plates. Something tells me I'll need skid plates. I've already ordered the "basic" requirements and purchased an exhaust pipe skid. Apparently Jeep decided to add a loop-de-loop to the exhaust system and made it hang down. What a bunch of morons. (See the pic.) The passenger side exhaust will be covered with an engine/tranny skid. Anyway, once my pocketbook comes back into the black I'll start on the rest of the skid plates and lift. Can't wait to see you guys out on the trails!

Check out that exhaust pipe.. Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! says the exhaust!

Cool Mark, congrats!

AFE makes a good solution for your crossover pipe, just about everyone modding a '13 is using them.

Welcome Marky! You remind me of a guy that used to wheel a fairly decently built JK.... Man they would thrash that thing... Good luck with the new jeep and welcome to the forum. ;)

Welcome Mark...When I used to buy new mx bikes for the season (before I beat the snot of of them) I would sit down with a cold beer and look and smell the new machine. Trying to keep it that way will be the test cuz in order to really enjoy it...you got to hammer on it!

Good luck and see you on the trail. Oh yeah, do you go really slow?

I've been told I drive very slow, but I don't seem to get as much damage that way.

I believe this. Not long ago I spotted Dennis on Mass Ave in Harvard square. He was at a bike rack and seemed to be sniffing people's used bicycle seats. :o
