Yup. She told me when we met that she wanted a full size truck by the time she was 30, I promised her she would. I was able to do it a year early so I did.
Doug she wants a remote starter in it now too.

I will try to get more pictures of it up soon. I know it looks black in the picture but it is actually a metallic dark green that is a really nice color. I think it is the perfect setup with the 4 door extended cab and 6.5' bed. I don't really fit in the back seat but Jen does with out an issue and since the front seat is a bench seat you can easily fit 6 people in it with out any issue.
Already found out I can "upgrade" it to get the info button for short money. Just have to look into a brake controller, already wired, and a weight distribution hitch. Any suggestions on either? Oh also thinking about a tonneau cover, never liked leaving things open to the weather when going long distances.
Plan is to be able to tow the Jeep to the Jeep Rally this year!!!

I have a Chevy Malibu already and at 85,000 miles several electrical connectors have gone bad. It has cost me a lot to find and fix those. Out of the 5 Toyotas I have had only two had electrical issues and that was after they were 200,000+ miles. I will stick to my Toyotas.
Only other truck I would consider would be a Diesel Dodge.

w.r.t. a brake controller....
I've been very happy with a Tekonsha P3 brake controller. If the truck comes pre-wired (good chance it does if it has a tow package) you should be able to get a wiring harness adapter that plugs in under the dash. I ended up extending mine so I could route it to where I wanted to put the brake controller in my Dodge.... Is 4 wires. I needed to add a power switch to it so I can shut it off (right now I have to disconnect it, which can be a PITA)... Problem is if the trailer is connected, but empty, and the controller triggers brakes it will lock up the tires, even on the lowest settings.
Weight distributing hitch... there are lots. You probably only need it when the trailer is loaded near the high end of your vehicle's rating. I'd look at etrailer.com for options. I got mine there.... I think it is a Reese. Buy a distributed hitch rated on the high-end for your application (e.g. if you have a 7k GTW trailer, then look for a weight distributing setup for 7k-10k). Also consider one with built-in anti-sway / sway control (mine has it and I found it made a difference with the WK on the highway). Before rushing in on this I'd load the trailer and see how it rides without it. My WK really needs the weight distributing hitch, but my Dodge Ram doesn't with a 7k trailer + Jeep + stuff....

Frank, I'm pretty sure the Tundra is built in North America, with more Made in USA parts than the American trucks. If Toyota offered a 1-ton with a Diesel option, the "big 3" would be in trouble.
