I'm tossed between 2 cage designs. Both are store bought. (I thought about a custom cage, but it is cost prohibitive at this point)
The first one is made by Rock Hard. RH offers both a front section, and a rear section for the Scrambler. 2 sections so you can run a 1/2 hardtop if desired. Not inportant too me, as I don't run a 1/2 hardtop.
Here's the front...
And the back...
The second option is by OR Fab, similar design as it bolts to the sides of the dash, but then it's welded to the main OEM hoop...
The rear would have to be fabbed with this setup as ORF does not offer one.

Id go with the second one and buy the bolt on rear and weld that one in also. FjR68

Update:
Spent most of yesterday figuring the configuration of clocking the t-case and whether or not I need to run a spacer to lower the skid. Must have had the case in and out 6 times, as well as the skid....man, the Dana 300 is heavy, 85lbs!!
Here's how it went...if I went without the spacer (skid bolted directly to the frame), I couldn't clock the case flat, as it hit the tub, and it pushed the motor into the radiator fans. (tranny is an NV4500, for those not familiar with it. it's huge! Very tall, which is why I'm having clearance issues.)
If I drop the skid with a 1" spacer, I can clock the case flat, the motor clears the fans, and all is good.
I really wanted to run the skid with no spacer for the additional clearance, but I don't want to "clearance" the tub, or deal with moving the motor up, or back.
So, I'll get some 1" flat stock and lower the skid, clock the case and call this part done.
(it went nowhere near as smooth as I'm describing...LOL)
I removed the front fenders for easier access to the motor mounts, I need to address a broken bolt, and plan out tube fenders.
Rear axle is still being built, I'll bring the shafts to Mitchell to have them shortened and resplined. Then figure out the brakes.
That brings us up to date...
