Snow tubing!

Unread post by Kodi »

:dance: Ok, we have done this before, we will do it again! Snow tubing! ALL are welcome!

I have checked a few of the options and the more cost friendly for families is Amesbury Sports Park http://www.amesburysportspark.net/

Their cost is $24 per person for a three hour block.

The hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tickets are sold in three or five hour blocks. Early in the day it is less crowded, so I will say let's meet at 9:30 a.m. and hit the lines/slopes for 10 a.m.!

Strongly suggest you check any size requirements for kids if you are planning on bringing any, DRESS for play in the snow! Layers are best! There IS a moving sidewalk and pulley system too to get you up the hill, or you can walk (waste of time)

Ask as many people as you'd like, this is not limited by trail size like our runs! The more the merrier! They have food and beverage on site, or plenty of local eateries!

Please post up here if you are interested in going/will be going! There will be no evite on this, as it is open to all!

Chris, this is why I posted this also in the thread;

As a parent you can choose to do whatever you like with your children. If you think it's a bad idea, that's up to you. This is open to all that qualify for the requirements of the facility, not BSJ. there is a waiver that gets signed at the gate for all.

For the group discount, we will need a group first. As this is a month away, I was hoping to generate the numbers then make a call if it looks like we will meet their requirements. Sometimes people say they will go, and don't. But if we can get a discount, more power to us.

I'm in, and asked a friend to ask a few of his, I may have up to 5 that want to join.
Think that will help the group discount?

Nevermind I'm out, same day as the NEA meeting, I've been planning on going to this one for a few weeks now.

send your friends Meg! LOL.... the number both Doug and I recall is around 20 for a discount to start. Since they don't list what it is, will have to wait for their reply, but when I planned this before....that's what we recall.
