Didn't notice, but the trains the go by shake our house, so unlikely I would notice. Heard on the news it was a 4.6 near Portland, ME

That was the strongest I've felt here in New England. Been here some 30 years.

Weirdest one I ever felt was in a high rise hotel in downtown Tokyo.
The whole tower swayed back and forth for a bit. Felt like I was on a ship at sea.
Spooky feeling...

The epicenter was a few miles from my camp! I initially thought the washing machine came unbalanced. Reports on FB all around New England of people feeling it...

Felt it here... Didn't know what it was at first... I thought it was like standing next to an unbalanced washing machine, but a bit slower.... Thought my washer (which was washing clothes) may be shaking itself apart.

Felt it in Townsend. Thought it was a huge gust of wind at first then realized it was too quiet for that.

Haha. I grew up in Cali - I was in a doorway before the short little thing even ended. Sounded like my apartment was falling down.

Been through a 6.9 & 7.1 in Cali ('92) - I could actually see the street rolling. Creepy.

Felt it here, lasted about 20 seconds or so. Like a couple of others, I had just put a load in the washer. Ran to the basement to see if the machine was coming apart.

When it hit, I was in Rochester NY. I felt a great disturbance..... as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

Then I realized it was because the Yankee$ lost again
