2012 Great American Jeep Rally Review

Unread post by schwalby »

The Rally was a success!!! We had just over 600 Jeeps and about 200 non-Jeeps which means we raised enough money to come back next year!!! Jen and I would also like to thank all of our volunteers and sponsors once again, obviously without either there would be no Rally.

All of the volunteers stepped up big time and instead of working the 2 and half hours we had asked they all worked at least 5 if not the whole day. That means the world to Jen and I, it was amazing to see everyone so willing to help do whatever it took to make the day a success, so again thank you so much. BSJ should be very proud of their level of support this year.

On a sperate note we did up a survey so we can get feedback for next year so if you could please take a minute to do it that would be much appreciated. (This is the same one that is linked on FaceBook so if you have already done it there please do not fill it out again, thanks)

You're welcome :)

1 suggestion: Lindsay and I were discussing that next year, we need "stamps" for the spectator lot! So many people came in, then went back out to their cars, then came back into the event!

Yeah you are going to want to hit me but we do have a Rally stamp we just couldn't find it in all the stuff Saturday. I wasn't going to tell you two that then though because I was within arms reach.

Not my fault you had kids. :P

Before we moved it to a Saturday I checked with about 50 different people and they all said Saturday was much better. And yes a good chunk of them have kids. Vendors and towns also like Saturday shows better.

We loved Saturday being a 5.5 hour round trip for us. Best Rally we have been to! :handgestures-thumbupright:
