Re: Tow Rigs
Mine is getting about 19MPG combined unloaded, don't know the towing yet.
Speed costs money, how slow do you want to go?

Tow Rigs
Picked up the trailer, gotta say the Ram pulls very nicely. Not as well as a diesel of course, but pretty comparable to the Vortech LS3 I ran in a few of my work trucks. Performs nicely on the on ramps and very solid accelerating from 55 to 75. Maintains 75 very nicely through hills, ect.

Re: Tow Rigs
Can it do this...
Who says diesels aren't economical?
Happened yesterday (I say happened because I don't see this all the time). Reset it when I left my house in Haverhill, drove to Crown in Canton, approx 56 miles one way. Set the cruise to 65mph, right through Boston, and back the same way. Surprised the hell out of me...

Damn Doug! I think your fuel computer is broken! A diesel would have been really nice...about a $10k price jump from comparable 1/2 ton trucks (trim levels...) was a tough one to swallow. I figured I'd rather have my jeep sitting on one tons anywayDOUG wrote:Can it do this...

I don't believe it.
There is no way you made down 93 through town with the cruise on.
