I heard about a sale going on at Sullivan Tires for Goodyear tires. Buy 3 get 1 free. Plus Goodyear has a $160 rebate on a set of 4 tires, plus $100 rebate from tread lightly.
I got 5 315/75r16 Goodyear MTR mounted/balanced for a total of $1169 after all the rebates. That's only $235 a tire, not too bad for a $350 tire.
I still haven't decided if I should get the replacement plan which would be $200 more but would cover any damage even from offroad use for the life of the tire. After the tire is worn past 50% a new tire would be half price. I need to check to be sure the plan covers all damage, even offroad.
Just figured I'd post this in case someone is looking for tires.
Great deal on tires!

Good thing you had rebates and stuff. 35" MTR's @ $350/ea is a rip off.

Re: Great deal on tires!
35x12.5x15 are only $260. Once you go up to 16" rims the price increases and I need the 16" rims to clear my brakes. I thought about switching to 15" brakes and getting different wheels but in the end this would cost more and why would I want to downgrade brakes?

if you went with the 35x12.5x15 you could get them for $175 a tire. That's not too bad.
