Anyone have anything to say about an F-150 with the 4.6L plant?
'99, about 150k on the clock, crew cab 4x4. Any known problems or things to look for with these?
Just looking right now, but the price is right

My dad's is a 99 with the 5.4 3V but he has had no issues. About 180K on it. All he has replaced is tires, one set of shocks and two sets of brakes plus the usual oil and filter changes.
Speed costs money, how slow do you want to go?

Nice truck. The 4.6L is a great engine. Not the most powerful, but very reliable. I borrowed one many moons ago to drag my Willys home on my old ka-zillion pound homemade trailer, and it did just fine.
