Hi, Michele and I just mailed in our memberships. We are a 3-jeep family - 2011 JK Unlimited, 2012 JK Rubicon and a 1955 CJ5 in mostly-stock trim for puttering about town. We have been offroading on and off for years, but decided to jump back in to it very activly now that we have a bit more time.
The Mango Bus above is my 2011 JK Unlimited that started life as a chipper chicken Sport. It has 4.88 gears with a Teraflex D44 with Synnergy ball joints, RCV 35 spline shafts, ARB air locker, Currie tie rods and Teraflex Big Brakes up front and a Teraflex D60 with ARB in the rear. Reel CV driveshafts front and rear. 3" full traction lift with Bilstein shocks and 35's for suspension. LOD front and rear bumbeps, LOD rock rails, River raider skids for protection. Flat fenders courtesy of my Sawzall. Sundry other mods - SPOD, onboard air, functional H4 headlights, limb risers and the like - because I like to tinker.
In the future? Atlas II?
I'm looking forward to being active in the community and to meeting a bunch of new friends.
Philip

Re: Hello from Waltham
Hey Phil & Michele: Welcome to our great club. Awesome rig. If you would like to get rid of the bungee cord (to stop rattle ) im guessing ? Get some silicone , put grease on your pass through bolt and load up the hole with the silicone. Just the bolt , not the clevis. Let it set up over night and Tada ! No more rattle. The bolt will pull right out thanks to the grease ! This tip is free ! Unless you use the bungee to pull out full size rigs. FjR68
