Finally got around to revamping my A/C system into a very useful On Board air system in my 1997 TJ.
The following are a few pics and info from the install.

Added an tool oiler from Habor Freight to the Sanden compressors inlet line to keep it happily lubed.
P/N 68227 $9.99
Added a tranny cooler to act as a intercooler to cool off the hot output from the compressor.
It's good for 300 PSI
Cooler Hayden Automotive 403 Ultra-Cool Tube Amazon $34
Then routed the cooler output thru a Viar check valve, Viar 80/120 presure switch and a Coalescing filter to remove any oil from the compressors output.
Coalescing filter SMC AFM30-02 from Amazon $49.00
Check Valve V/A92831 4WD.com $3.99
Pressure switch V/A90223 4WD.com $19.99
Tapped into the intake tube to supply the compressor with clean filtered air.
Then routed the output thru a line to a 2.5 gallon Viar air tank mounted to the driver rear fender well.

The tank has the pressure gauge, blow off valve and a pair of quick disconects for air tools and/or air up hoses.
Works awesome!

Looks real nice! You might want to check the pump after the first time filling up tires to make sure it isn't too hot. I ran my a/c pump as an air compressor in my last jeep and burnt it up because the mini tool oiler didn't provide enough oil to lubricate the pump. The one you used looks bigger so might be fine!

That's the problem with the small in-line oilers. You really can't tell if it's injecting oil or not.
People have had bad luck with them and have burned up their new OBA systems.
So that's why I chose an oiler that has an adjustable oil controI with a visual verification.
On top of the unit is a clear dome and you can see the oil being injected to verify it's working and how much oil is being injected into the system. The oil flows from the small copper tube in the dome.
The oil flow rate is adjusted via the screw on the left. The black plug on the right is for refilling the unit.
Slick little unit for $9.99.

Also, I like the idea of using the engine air filter. I should have done that but just went with a filter right on the pump inlet.
