So, I got a 74 CJ5 a while back and tried to revive it from the dead. It's still dead, just mildly zombified.

So last night I bought a 2004 Rubicon. Yeah!!

I'd love to check out a meeting? Where are they? When? Is that OK before you're a member?

As far as all the questions, it's got no mods, I'd like to lift it, I haven't gone on a trail since my last little baby was stolen (2005) - and I used to wheel in AZ (AZVJC), WA (Timber Tamers & Cascade 4x4), and PA (Jeepin Jezebels). I've done the Rubicon (although I was a newbie and a the bypass princess), Moab, and it turns out - LOVE sand dunes. Seriously, love them.

I know. But, I also know that I'll be on the left coast this summer. I'm gonna sand dune myself out ;)

Well, the 74 has an AMC 304 in it that runs beautifully, we took care of the steering, brakes, and fuel systems. It has a back woods SOA and the R&P angle is awful, so it spits out the drive shaft every so often (like every 20 miles). AND there is an electrical leak somewhere that sucks the battery down. Haven't been able to find it. It lived in a field for years, and has been at my friend's house with a periodic start up for two years. :(

If you needs some parts, I will happily part it out. If you're so bored you want to help a novice tinkerer tinker...feel free to gimme a call ;) I'm free all summer.
