Rob and I are in for this trip as well - finally got the OK from our jobs to take the time off. Would be following Modeler's example above (just ship my Jeep out) and both of us fly to Utah and back so as to take less vacay time.Modeler wrote:95xj wrote:I have made my reservation at the Moab Valley RV park just to be safe. Got a small cabin like the last time. Wify will not joining me this time. Trails till it busts. Will we be running into any Jeep Safari runs during our stay? Wow, a TWO week adventure...Yes
What date do we expect to arrive at and depart Moab? I'm going to be proactive in case everything is OK with Beth's job and reserve a cabin. As of right now, if everything goes right, we are going to ship the Jeep and fly out since she will be able to take less vacation off.

Re: trip dates?
Just booked my cottage at Moab Valley RV assuming we arrive 10/7 and depart 10/16.
** They only have 1-2 cottages left so don't delay in booking one!
They have plenty of cabins left.
Cottages have their own shower and bathroom. Cabins don't.

Thanks for the heads up Kurt. Booked w/ Krista right after I saw your post. She was saying to me that the dates sounded familiar when she asked how I'd heard about the place. LOL

Re: trip dates?
Well, I won't be going, as Oct 1 it go-live for our conversion to SAP (Pray for us, I've NEVER heard anything good about any SAP implementation). Anyway, I'm sure you can get a tent spot. Back when I was thinking of going, Donna and I were considering renting an RV for the trip. That way we would save lodging on the way out (most Walmarts encourage RVers staying overnight in their lots, you just call ahead and find out if it's OK). Worth looking in to, I think.jquader wrote:Oh sure, just when we find out we might be able to go.DOUG wrote:We're in...booked last available cottage!!!

There are cabins still available, it's only the "cottages" that are full.jquader wrote:Oh sure, just when we find out we might be able to go.DOUG wrote:We're in...booked last available cottage!!!

Re: trip dates?
I'm calling to book a tent site today - looks like they are all clustered in the same area. I'll post up which space I have so others can request a spot close. Unless if any tent sites have already been booked, and I should request a spot?

trip dates?
I'm booked! Have a tent site from 10/5 - 10/13. Arriving earlier, doing some hiking. If you're tenting, put a request in to be near Keith Dalziel.
