OBA Install pics
Here are a few pictures of my OBA install. I still have some tweaking to do but so far it works awesome.

Its a 2.5 gallon smittybilt. Not too expensive either, about 45 and it included a bunch of fittings and hoses.

Same tank I put in my YJ last season
Couldn't tell from the pics but be sure you use a hose that can withstand high temps between the compressor output and the tank. The compressed air from the compressor is really hot. Inexpensive hoses will soften and burst.

The hose that comes off the compressor is the stock ac aluminum and rubber hose for a couple feet. I will keep my eye on it though

That's a huge gauge! Do you put your windshield down? You might want to relocated to prevent tree/branch/roll damage.

Looks good. I had thought about that location for mine but I had clearance issues with the MML.
On another note, do your air horns fill with water?

Very good point. I will have to turn the horn upside down.
I have about 1" of space between the tank and the valve cover with no MML

Re: OBA Install pics
What kind of compressor are you using? Is it an A/C converted to air or a designed air compressor? On the A/C mount?

It's the stock ac compressor.COH143 wrote:What kind of compressor are you using? Is it an A/C converted to air or a designed air compressor? On the A/C mount?
I will have to keep it oiled with some sort of mister or regular air tool oiler connected to the input side. I will have to make a run to harbor freight for that. I'm pretty sure I've seen them there.
