What size air tank are you using?

Its a 2.5 gallon smittybilt.Not too expensive either, about 45 and it included a bunch of fittings and hoses.

Same tank I put in my YJ last season :handgestures-thumbupright:


Couldn't tell from the pics but be sure you use a hose that can withstand high temps between the compressor output and the tank. The compressed air from the compressor is really hot. Inexpensive hoses will soften and burst. :-o

That's a huge gauge! Do you put your windshield down? You might want to relocated to prevent tree/branch/roll damage.

Looks good. I had thought about that location for mine but I had clearance issues with the MML.

On another note, do your air horns fill with water?

Very good point. I will have to turn the horn upside down.

I have about 1" of space between the tank and the valve cover with no MML

What kind of compressor are you using? Is it an A/C converted to air or a designed air compressor? On the A/C mount?

It's the stock ac compressor.
I will have to keep it oiled with some sort of mister or regular air tool oiler connected to the input side. I will have to make a run to harbor freight for that. I'm pretty sure I've seen them there.
