Yet another reason to love Rausch

They have gained access to an 8,000 acre property nearby for trail riding! Looking at pics/discussion there are lots of rocks to play in and they will be cutting some blacks/reds. It will cost extra for a guided run, but the property seems a lot better then the $10 per day NE property. Just one more great reason to wheel at Rausch!

Description, "Trails are wide open but there is also a few in the woods but are cut well. As far as comparing to rock creek there is areas just like rock creek but with climbs instead of being flat. There is also a lot of miniture rock creek. The nice part about this property is there can be someone playing in a red area, a black area, a blue area, repairing off to the side, and running the green trail all within sight of the guide. All this then going on a ride through the woods afterwards. Tons of mixed terrain."

the park staff are an interesting, but nice bunch. i still love the story about our first night last time when it rained so hard the women who works the desk slept on her couch at home instead of her bedroom because she was scared. of course we were all out in the rain, and some people *cough*kurt*cough* slept right through the whole thing!

Glad I bought a canopy for that trip, and I'm looking forward to the next trip. Rain, Downpours, still had a blast! It boils down to people, good people = good times regardless.

It is also the best proving grounds I've taken my rig on, for sure. You know what I mean John and Kurt! AKA the dynamic repair duo!
