Be on the lookout...

A nice built-up Jeep was stolen from Quincy, MA last night. Be on the lookout. The ownee's name is Ryan and I've seen him post on the the Massachusetts part of JeepForum under Ryanwhiteaker.

Most likely the Jeep will not appear in complete form. I would suspect the perpitrator will try to part it out. I woulkd look on craigslist for the parts turning up

On JF, the owner stated that he had installed a quick start button that required a key to be present. I would not rule out that the person that stole the jeep is someone that knows him. Also I would guess that the jeep is in a garage somewhere and will look completely different in 6months.

I really hope he finds the Jeep.

Update: The Jeep was recovered in Raynham. The tranny was removed, but that sounds like the only damage that was done. It's all posted on the JF link above.

Stinks to know there are jeep thieves active in our area!
