Today I drove all the way to Westhampton to a junk yard. I put a deposit on a 1999 black tub.

There is no dents or damaged... really. I will have a better idea of what I'm dealing with when I take it out of the junk yard! The tub should be stripped and ready by Tue/Wed.

I just need to figure out a rental trailer to get it since its so far away.

I think I might go and work on it on Monday or Tuesday. Just to strip a little more and hopefully try to make room for the tub (heehee). Of course if they gate keeper lets me.

As soon as the tub gets to the garage, there should be some major work!

No need to rent a trailer.
My truck and trailer are sitting here all hooked up and ready to go fetch the tub with you. ;)

Is the hood there and in decent shape? I want a replacement and would prefer black. I can easily swing by Kurts and potentially lend a hand for a bit depending what days(s) you are working...

Kurt! The junk yard was a 1 hr 45 min drive from Marlboro!

Jeff- he has hoods. The one that is on the body I'm taking is tan..ya.. Black and tan jeep.. Maybe the owner was trying to resemble a cow?
But, I can look around when I go back.

Sounds more like the owner was trying to resemble a good beer pour!

Is there much we can do without the tub?!! I just don't want to take too much out and forget where it all goes. Haha. I have to call the junk yard on Tuesday to see if its ready to pick up.
What do you think? Should we bother tomorrow?!!! I'm around.

True... Probably best to get the replacement tub there and start moving the last of the components from tub to tub.
Not really a full days work left without the replacement tub there.

Hopefully the JY gets the other tub readied in a timely manner!

Keep us posted on the new tubs outlook :)

Hey, if the junkyard falls through, here's one in Springfield that's supposed to be in good shape:
