A big thakns to all that showed up yesterday but especially to Pat, Chris, Kurt and Carol/Rob for taking trail lead and Gunners for us. A very special shout out to Jamestree for creating and printing up our custom event stickers!
We had a great turn out with at least 17 jeeps form BSJ/NCRS and some non-club members. Great to meet you Tom! Ray (Im sorry did I call him Ray, I mean my brother Elwood) and Lisa will soon be full members and not only was it Lisa's first time wheeling with BSJ, it was her first time wheeling and she did it in the snow! How cool is that? It was great to finally wheel with Dave and Dave, have known these guys for a few years and have not made it on the same trail at the same time. It was a pleasure. It was actually pretty funny as modeler was spotting one of the NCRS folks at the same time as me but we were on the same page so I gladly let him take over.
After the run a large portion of my group got together for a pizza (and NO BEER boooo hisss!) but had a great time chatting about Moab, Rausch and our club schedules for next year. Ray was kind enough to bring in his laptop so we passed around the SD cards and we were able to scoop up photos from the assembled paparizi. hope you can spot your Red jeep in the crowd.... there were a lot of them.. My replacement laptop seems as stable as the san andreas fault so Ive loaded some 90 ought pictures before it flaked and crashed on me. Below is a link to what is there so far and some of my favorites of the lot. Enjoy!

Re: 2011 Turkey Trot Picture thread
As a member of both BSJ and NCRS, I want to thank you for the opportunity to join the run. The conversations on the CB on the way back to Concord (where Sue and Dan went North and the Watermans and I headed South to my house) brought to light the fact that while the two clubs are geographically spread, we are cut from the same cloth.
It was great to finally get to wheel with some that I hadn't yet and to meet some new people as well. Also, Kudos to Lisa for her first run, in snow, in a stock suspensioned, open/open YJ!! Great job!!!!
