Welding help needed. Poss wrench fest?
Hey all
So im finally settling back in after Rausch and want to start thinking of burnining in my new A to Z fab sport cage they made me while i was down there.
I picked up both the front and rear add ons
http://www.atozfabrication.com/store/Re ... ler-s.html
http://www.atozfabrication.com/store/Fr ... ler-s.html
Im in no real rush to get it in it can be a winter project. I can likely procure my neighbors shop when we are ready to go and im more than happy to have club members that cant weld come and watch and assist. I'll be happy to provide lunch etc and we can call it welding 102 or 201 if ya like
Thanks
Jeff

Idk if it would be too much club activity to do this the sunday after the fall meeting (oct 23rd) but that would work for me as Kris has plans for the day that day now... Lmk
Thanks

This is very likely a multi-day effort especially if going into a TJ.
Gotta deal with the dash and cutting out openings in the dash for the tubes to pass thru on both sides.
Also it takes some time to test fit each piece and cut some of them to proper length and tweeking others. (Grinding, notching...)
Then gradually tacking it all up, test fitting the windshield, etc before the final burn.

X2 on Kurt's assessment. It will take a couple of days for a nice clean look and fit.

I have a wood stove refurbishment project which needs paint that you can come help with.... Feel like helping to lug around a 435 lb cast iron stove, or climbing on my roof to inspect the chimney flue?Voodoo Chile wrote:was just trying to get out of helping paint at my wife's friends house...
