Drove to the White Mountains and hiked the 4,000 footer Mount Jackson today. Flags are flown on many of the Presidential Peaks for a couple hours on 9/11 as a memorial and we got there in time to see this one.

View of Crawford Notch and the Mount Washington Hotel.
We took Crawford Path on the way down and saw a waterfall. I learned that it's the oldest continuously used mountain trail in America!
