View from Mount Jackson

Unread post by del_TJ »

Drove to the White Mountains and hiked the 4,000 footer Mount Jackson today. Flags are flown on many of the Presidential Peaks for a couple hours on 9/11 as a memorial and we got there in time to see this one.

Here's a view of Mizpah Spring Hut up close. It's tiny in the previous photo.

View of Crawford Notch and the Mount Washington Hotel.

We took Crawford Path on the way down and saw a waterfall. I learned that it's the oldest continuously used mountain trail in America!
