WHEELING FOR THE LOST PICTURES
We had a great time Saturday at this event. Weather cooperated, we had about 7 BSJ rigs show up and several of the BSJ members even won raffle prizes. I won a Manchester Monarchs AHL Hockey Jersey - little too warm to wear it now! The trails were mainly stock to lightly moderate in some places. A great time was had by all. The amount of $1,013.00 was raised for this organization (National Center for Lost and Exploited Children). Here are some pictures of the raffle and ride. Enjoy!

Re: WHEELING FOR THE LOST PICTURES
Thank you Frank - anything for the kids! We had a great group too - lots of laughs all day long. Only issue was a new 2011 JK with 3K miles on it with the new Penn Star Engine I think it is called. It is the baby blue Jeep in the pics above. Very first part of the trail ride it started idling extremely rough, backfiring and when the gas pedal was applied, the Jeep would not move an inch! It was a manual transmission too. It coded with a lightening bolt - which the owner's mamual indicated as SEE HELP IMMEDIATELY which did not tell us much. Carl McFly used her decoder machine but I don't think it said much either. Shut the engine off a couple of times and then he was able to get off the trail and call for assistance. He was disappointed because it was him and his family's first ride with that Jeep. That green CJ was sweet!

I believe Rob said it was a Unimog? He did not wheel it though and I don't blame him!dizilbdog wrote:What was that yellow camper looking thing with the big tires that thing looks awesome!

My cousin has one
Mid-engined, air cooled 4-cylinder, manual lockers front $ rear, Portal style axles
Pretty cool
And yes - his rear cargo door is open and gear is falling out as he's driving...
