Introducing Myself

Unread post by DETOUR »

Hello, Group

We are Robert & Christie from Derry NH.

We drive a 2010 JK 4Dr Black Rubicon softop with half doors. Its currently stock, looking to step it up (tires, lift) hoping to talk with others as well as see/drive modified (same) vehicles to get ideas before I modify mine.

Had my first jeep back in 1997 ( small block stroker, BM shifter, track lock etc...), Then I got an H1 Hummer, had a good club of people, fun road trips until they started allowing those (fake hummers) H2 etc.. Sold Hummer got 2005 Rubicon now 2010 4dr Rubicon.

Looking for fellow Jeepers that want to take weekend excursions all over New England etc...

We are looking to go away with other jeepers for one nighters , weekends, etc.. to places like Bar Harbor, Nova Scotia, The cape. We'd like to mix it up with both off road and on road events.

Welcome to the forum. Baystate does monthly trail rides, sometimes with weekend camping, that would be perfect for your Jeep. It's definitely worth the membership for the trail access.

Regarding weekend getaways and road trips - I'm sure a few folks would be interested, so I recommend posting up your next trip and see if anyone would like to go on that specific date.

Also - don't park at the bottom of a hill when John Cadrette is climbing it. "It's okay, John. Don's jeep will stop you..."
