This is my first Wrangler...08' jk stock but look forward to modifying

I am new to this club and off roading so any suggestions are appreciated

I'm looking to put a lift kit, larger tires, new exhaust and some minor engine upgrades

When is the meeting this month and do you have a location yet?

Welcome to the forum! There are a few JKs in here so Im sure a few folks will chime in on lifts and such.

Oh and the first thing you are going to want to do is get a skid for the evap canister. :)

Other than that, JKs are very capable out of the box. My '09 has a 2" budget boost, Rocker protection from body armor, 265r75x16 tires and the aforementioned evap cannister skid plate. $1200 total investment in aftermarket parts, it has never failed to go where I pointed it.
