My only other comment... If you buy used I wouldn't go with hydraulic surge brakes... Go w/ electric on both axles and put a controller in your truck...

Thanks we have the electrical wiring still in the bag for the electric brake hookup.
Yes - I am afraid of flying cones and barrels until we get used to towing....! Maybe drive around at 3 AM on weekend mornings until we get the hang of it.

Nah, don't be afraid. It was funny as all hell.PeaceFrog wrote:Yes - I am afraid of flying cones and barrels until we get used to towing....! Maybe drive around at 3 AM on weekend mornings until we get the hang of it.
Driving with a trailer is easy. Just leave yourself a little extra room or cut corners too sharp. Piece of cake.

Re: OUR NEWEST ADDITION
Long trailers back up easier than say a quad trailer. If you cant do the mirror thing then keep your hands at the bottom of the steering wheel and as you look in the mirror you can turn in the normal direction. Slow backing is way less expensive ! FjR68
Re: OUR NEWEST ADDITION
I'm looking into adding a wireless backup cam to my WK... They are fairly cheap and easy to do these days... Plus they help in parking lots when you can't see too well...
