Cj5 Stretch
Imput ! Anyone ever see a Leaf /coil set up with the coils in the rear? Any wright ups on this. Im really thinking about stretching Mona, and the rear is the easiest to do. Ive already moved the front 3" and unless I move the steering box , there isnt any more room. Im going F.I. so I dont need the fuel tank under there soooooo, Im looking at all that space to go backward. I have a chance to get the older Black Diamond XC suspension for peanuts. It wasnt installed on the Yj as he had a 8.8 and the brackets were for a 44. Talk to me Goose ! FjR68

Damn Dude : Thats a whole lotta everything. Not what I had in mind. I just want it to stop trying to tip over ! Dennis has a short clip from Rousch and i think if you look hard enough you see P dripping from the weep holes in the floors ! My lesson on the comp course. FjR68

I don't think coils are the answer. Your wheelbase is still too short to have any decent length control arms for better angles and flex. SOA with soft springs and a rear traction bar would be the next step.
If you do want coils, SOA the front and link the rear.

Re: Cj5 Stretch
I think you'd do better to link the front and do SOA in back... I can see why it may be easier to do the rear w/ coils though.
I think there are several kits available with brackets you can order. JP mentioned one a little while ago for putting a 4-link rear in.

Re: Cj5 Stretch
Black Diamond had come out with a coil conversion all four corners. Called XC I believe. They now have updated that . I ran into a guy that had the kit installed in the front of his YJ and didnt do the rear as all the brackets were for a Dana 44. I can get the links , brackets, coils and move my axle back in a weekend. The sheetmetal will get the comp cut as it already has Rubi rear flares (thanksJW) is cut up to the inner fenders so another 8 or 9 inches rearward wont matter. Hello Tom Woods ? Can you fix my driveshaft ? Thats the game plan so far. FjR68
