Hi Mark
Welcome to the forum! Its currently only 20bucks to join for the remainder of the year and we still have 4 runs coming up as well as some NEA sanctioned runs.. Dom's jeep and auto is up in the Salem NH area and he does great work. Can you share a picture of your jeep with us? I'm sure there are shops closer to you, what kind of work do you want done?

I will post a picture later on when I get home from work.

The work I need done. Here is my dilema I installed the suspension, Dana 30 and Chrysler 8 1/4 a little over a year ago, my wife and I decided to start a family around the same time. So the jeep got put on the back burner (put into storage for about a year). I just recently put it back on the road. I recently moved into an apartment complex on the north shore and am unable to work on the vehical here. I am not really a big fan of paying someone to do work I am capable of but at this point I dont really have a choice. So the bottom line is I need to get this thing into the shop in the next week or 2 to make it roadworthy (or at least inspection worthy).

I need my new exhaust installed it is currently sitting in a box in my Dining room (the wife loves that LOL)
I need my e-brake to work (upgraded the rear end out of a differnt year XJ and upgraded to disk brakes out of a differnt year ZJ)
My front end is in serious need of alignment work (new front end and lift kit put it way out of whack)
I had a problem with the tranny not going into gear very easy (from time to time), I thought it was the snchro's but later found out that 2 of the 4 bolts that hold the tranny (at the crossmember) are broken off flush with the tranny ( as a result of this the tranny has some movment and depending on how hard I brake or accelerate the tranny moves and will not alow the shifter to line up properly). These are the issues that I need to get resolved in the next couple of weeks after that I can drive it back to the metrowest area to wrench on it at a friends place (and repair other minor issues)

I will join the club soon, but am unsure if I am going to make it out wheeling before the snow comes. I have to many little things I need to get done on the XJ before I make a trip to do some wheeling. We will see. I will be ordering some tires and flares in the next couple of weeks then the fun begins! (cutting up the body a bit my favorate thing to do!)

What town are you in? There is a great DIY garage called You Do It Garage in Nashua that let's you rent bays and borrow tools.

I am in Swampscott, Ma (next to Salem, Ma). I really like that but I need something local because my XJ is uninspected, has a soccer ball sized hole in the muffler, and needs an alignment REALLY bad. I wish there was something local like that. I basicly need an honest (and local) shop that I can drive it to once.

Let me check with the guy (Tony) that installed my Axles and long arm kit. He lives in Salem ma, he may be able to do the work or recommend someone near you that can. Check out my build thread for the axle install he did for me
