Need to ask Pat, maybe she remembers him. I don't recall him, but then I miss a lot of stuff.

I looked thru the old members lists going back to 2002.
Didn't see him listed.

Yeah, I think so too. That would be Fall '06 or Spring '07.

Nevin was a former co-worker and friend of mine. I got him started in Baystate back in 2006? He loved the (now closed) trail in Ware and made a few runs at the now recently closed trail. Nevin didn't get out on many runs due to the fact the he had to work a lot of Saturdays, but he really enjoyed the runs he did get to go on. I remember one run in which he slid backwards down elephant back rock for about 10 ft. I thought he was going to soil his pants before we could get a strap on his Jeep and tug him back up. I also remember the first day I saw his Jeep in the employee parking lot. As soon as I figured out who's Jeep it was, I went to find Nevin and we started talking about his plans for upgrades and taking it out wheeling. Nevin's love for his Jeep and the Jeep lifestyle really defined the last few years of his life.

Nevin has been undergoing a courageous battle with cancer for the last two years, which is another reason he hasn't gotten out on many runs. He went through surgery and heavy chemo for the first round. It had appeared that the cancer was gone last summer, but that remission was short lived. He always kept an up beat attitude to the end. Nevin will be deeply missed.
