I went to Rausch Creek this past August and it was awesome! The club does two trips a year, one in the spring, and one in late summer. I'm starting a new job in two weeks, so I don't know if the spring trip will work for me.

Maintenance and comfort. The TJ was designed well as stock. Once you lift it, you start a chain reaction of things that will need attention. The cheapest jeep, is a stock jeep. Keep the rust at bay, keep it well greased, oiled, and clean.

I've never changed ball joints. Is there a way to measure to see if they've worn at all? If they are anything like u-joints in that from what i've read, if you keep them greased, they will last a lifetime, then you may not need to change them.
