We definitely need to get you off road so you can take proper poser shots.
I went to Rausch Creek this past August and it was awesome! The club does two trips a year, one in the spring, and one in late summer. I'm starting a new job in two weeks, so I don't know if the spring trip will work for me.

Re: Yj or cherokee?
I've got some great 31's on my TJ right now. 245/75r16's. 31's. General Grabber AT2. Great all around tires. They perform quite well off road, only been hung up a time or two because of the tread. On road, no problems at all. Winter traction is awesome. If I was ready to get the 33's soon, I'd sell ...

Re: Yj or cherokee?
Maintenance and comfort. The TJ was designed well as stock. Once you lift it, you start a chain reaction of things that will need attention. The cheapest jeep, is a stock jeep. Keep the rust at bay, keep it well greased, oiled, and clean.

Re: General Maintenance
I've never changed ball joints. Is there a way to measure to see if they've worn at all? If they are anything like u-joints in that from what i've read, if you keep them greased, they will last a lifetime, then you may not need to change them. On the other hand, if you question the wear on them, sin...

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .
You had said in an earlier post that (If Im correct) The brackets would bolt into the factory brackets on the frame to lower the control arms. You were right in assuming they would take away ground clearance. Dont do it. Wait till you have the funds and do it right. Only my opinion and that dont co...

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .
If the control arms are just to correct the pinion angle, caster and generally restore the geometry, I would get adjustable upper control arms. When lifting the vehicle, the control arm angles become steeper like Frank was saying. When that happens, you're actually shortening the wheelbase front to ...

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .
I was wondering why the two different 2.5" lifts have different requirements as far as the exhaust modification and wheel spacers (or aftermarket wheels). So I googled the Teraflex coil lift and followed your link to the AEV. From what I've read, I think that the driveshaft will interfere with ...

Hey Rod! Welcome to the club!
Sounds like a good build!
As far as the pictures, the best option is to upload them to a photobucket or similar online service, and copy/paste the direct link as follows:
