I'm quite interested. I run standard wiper blades usually, as the curved blades that are all the rage now don't stay on flat windshields real well.Modeler wrote:Ordered, needed new wipers anyway. I'll let everyone know what they are like when they come in.

Re: Trail Run Photos - June 25 2016
I had to take a short hiatus from wheeling. Got new tires Wednesday, installed some front brakes Friday night, front track bar Saturday morning, got it aligned, and still an engine skid and speedo corrector still on the way. And I'm moving next weekend. I'll be out there wheeling soon. Jeep actually...

Re: New Jeep owner
Long arm lifts will be quite a bit more work due to necessary welding and whatnot. Short arm lifts up to 3-4" are pretty good. I'm running a 3" short arm lift with most components being Teraflex. I always recommend people new to the jeep life to experience the jeep stock, wheel it as is, t...

Re: TJ Rubicon Speedometer Calibration
I'll definitely look into the yellow box. I found that in my 5 minutes of Google-ing at work. The superlift truspeed looks good, but I can save 100 bucks, I'm gunna do that.
All of this after checking with a local jeep dealer.

TJ Rubicon Speedometer Calibration
After far too long, I'm finally upgrading my tiny tired to something a bit more appropriate to the jeep. I just need to figure out how to calibrate the speedo. On non-rubicon tjs you just have to swap out speedo gears. On the rubicon, it is unfortunately not as simple as its a electronic thing-a-ma-...

Re: Rear Brake Recommendations
I'm also digging for some recommendations, but on the front axle for me. My pads are constantly squeaking under heavy and light braking, but there is still a ton of pad and they were replaced only 12k-13k ago. I'm looking to upgrade pads to the EBC yellow pads or the Black Magic Brake pads. From goo...

I'll be there at 9:30.
If I bring my YJ bumper, perhaps we can install it on my TJ later on if everyone else's projects gets done?

Anytime after 9 is acceptable for me. I do like my sleep. So 10? No real preferences on my end.

Re: Hi from Cambridge
Welcome! I've wheeled my jeep as a daily driver before, and after I sell my car today, I'll be back to driving it daily again. Best thing you can do with a daily driver jeep is to install protection. Because its a smaller jeep, if you take it off road, you will be much more likely to drag it over a ...

Re: Time for new tires...Care to share your opinions?
When you said that the BFG was unavailable in your size, I had to do some research. Apparently its a weird size. So, using this site (http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp) I was able to visualize different sizes. So, if you went with a 265/70/17, it will be only .6" taller, and marginally hea...
