Re: Club Rewards Card- 4 WD
Just got my email as well! To follow up to those that weren't at the meeting, the BOD had discussed joining the 4WD club rewards program, so I went though simple steps and got this ball rolling. The perks are as follows: 5% discount on orders. Individual Club members will be placed in the system und...

Re: Introducing Hoodoo Man.. the Jeeper formerly known as Vo
Very nice write up, glad you got the death wobble solved and that Jim was able to dial in the alignment well for you. Never had an issue with him. He is the go to guy for the simple front end alignment.

Re: U Joint
OEM had 1330's in all three positions for both the front and rear shafts. Tom Woods "default" shaft goes to 1310's in the double cardan and 1330 at the differential. If I remember correctly anyways.

Re: Chasing Issues
They moved it forward, but eliminated the harmonic balancer essentially lengthening the driveshaft and lessening the angle. I've seen the extension pieces you speak of. They would help on the drivers side, but not the passenger. The passenger side is stuck between the exhaust and the perch.

Re: Chasing Issues
I swapped out both rear shocks yesterday. Both shafts were bent, causing the shocks to feel frozen. I do have the issue where the shocks body hits the spring perch, so I had to cycle the suspension just to get the shock installed. The shocks I put in are actually meant for a 3 inch lift instead of t...

A new jeep is always a mistake haha, but the ability to beat on something other then a daily driver is worth it alone. Congrats!

Re: Anyone familiar with LCG builds on TJs?
The control arms should have any problem with any springs you manage to fit in the stock spring perches. For the most part, stock-ish length control arms are good up to 3-4" lift. I'm currently running a 3" short arm lift, body lift and my 33's fit quite nice. High fenders and a little tri...

Re: Moab trip and Rubicon trip
I likely won't be able to do it early next year. Possibly mid-late summer. It comes down to money and vacation time. As far as location, I'd want to do either, but my current thought would be Moab. My current goals are much shorter term, like fix the jeep and make it reliable (if even possible). I'd...
