Re: Misfire and code P-0352
Grrr, no good. Replaced the coil and the #2 and #5 spark plugs and the problem persists. So I guess it's time to turn it over to someone with a bit more mechanical experience.

Re: Misfire and code P-0352
Whew, had me worried there at first. If I had to start at 6 that takes two hands which increases the difficulty... So I got it home, now in limp mode. Checked codes and added codes P0300, P0302, and P0305. I gather that one coil runs both cylinders. Would you say, snarkily or otherwise, that it is l...

Misfire and code P-0352
On my way to work this morning in my 03 TJ 4.0 my CEL came on and I noticed a misfire. I checked the code when I got to work and it came up P-0352. I found this: http://www.obd-codes.com/p0352 I intend to follow those troubleshooting steps unless someone has other suggestions, but which coil is #2? ...

Re: TJ Lift
Aww, don't be so mean to Rough Country. My RC lift is 4 years old and hasn't given me an ounce of trouble whether it's crawling up waterfalls in AZ or driving cross country.

Re: At work today
We have guys at Westover who have been plowing 12+ hours a day for 3 days straight. I don't now how they do it. I have my CDL-A, so I could sign up to do it, but as good as the pay is, it isn't worth the torture.

Re: I want bigger tires
I've heard that about Rough Country too, but I think it was resolved. I've had their 4" lift for almost 4 years without any problems, even with their cheap shocks. For what it costs, I'll just replace the springs if they ever sag.

Re: I want bigger tires
My brother uses Teraflex and has always seemed to like it. I absolutely agree with going to 16" rims, though I have no insight into brand. I still run my stock 15" rims and dread going even to 16s. :-D As for the tires, I've heard that is a decent tire for some soft off-road and is good on...

Re: I want bigger tires
Indeed, if you can go in and talk to them, they will give you all the info you need. Everyone has their opinions, and I am a newbie to this area, so I'm not the best to give build advice. I can tell you that you don't have to do much to a JK to make it an off-road monster. I used to wheel in AZ with...

Re: I want bigger tires
When it comes to tires, the more rubber the better. The main thing is that the bolt pattern matches up. See: http://www.crawlpedia.com/wheel_dimensions.htm Here are some options as far as lifts: http://www.roughcountry.com/suspension-lift-kits/jeep-suspension-lift-kits.html?vehicle_drive=3&vehic...

Re: Help picking onboard air system
On board is definitely best, but I never had a problem with my 12v compressor. I can't remember which one I got, but I think it may be the little MV50. Either way it's always filled my 33s fairly quickly. Tires are usually filled before the minor repairs from wear and tear are finished at the end of...

I've seen one of those at a dealer in Phoenix. It's basically a conversion kit for the JK Unlimited. Nice, but still not really a truck.

Re: FYI
Love Chevy and love diesel, but never liked the Colorado. I've been driving them daily at work for about 4 years now and their interiors are always falling apart and they always have stupid little mechanical issues. We need a Jeep pickup with a diesel motor.
