The AZ lifetime joints are fine for how you plan to use the XJ. Moog joints are great but $$$$$$ $100+ to do one side of the axle vs. $70-$75 for the AZ's. You're right about the $9 jobs!!!!!!!! They last one and a half long days of wheeling and 5.5K highway miles! Sealed joints are a little stronge...

I've been using the cheaper HF one for over 12 years!!!!!!!
For the extra $10 get the more expensive one. They both use the same "C" press, you just get a few extra adapters that might come in handy!!!!!!!

They're all basically the same. You just want to make sure to get a set that have the long mounts (like in your link) to distribute the load better. Also, the O.E. tow hook brackets used an L shaped brace to tie in the front cross member. You MIGHT be able to get those from the stealership or pick u...

Actually I'll rephrase it to AFFORDABLE integral e-brake calipers that I can mount to my 8.8 :lol: My kid had an older Taurus that had integral e-brake calipers. Don't know if they and be made to work. what about using a cutting brake on the driveshaft off of the T-Case? http://truck.hownd.com/prod...

ive done a ton of calipers and havent done drums in 10-15yrs. was real happy when I found my wifes oddessy had rear calipers as well... half of my wanting to upgrade to an 8.8 is to avoid the drums on my TJ... that and my dana 35 is doomed.... Hate to say but there's mini drums for the e-brake insi...

I wasn't seeing a Lock Rite for the D44 with a limited grip.
The NoSlip is a much more refined version of the luchbox hence the higher pricetag.
