Re: front end knock and can't figure it out...

Well the bearing has been replaced AND>>>> I still have my loud knocking, front driver side. Because of how loud the knock is, I don't think there is enough slop in the upper ball joint to cause this loud of knocking. Might have to bite the bullet and shell out some money to Lou to look at... arugh!!

Re: Anyone heard of Florida Pneumatic air tools??

This might be a dumb question.... Lets say your using an air ratchet to tighten up a bolt, for the last turn, the ratchet doesn't have enough power to tighten using the air feed. Can you then use the air ratchet like a normal ratchet to tighten the bolt?? I don't have a dedicated line, but I do add ...

Anyone heard of Florida Pneumatic air tools??

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of Florida Pneumatic air tools?? Apparently they are the manufacturer of some of the Craftsman Pro series air tools. However if you search for Florida Pneumatic, you don't find much about them regarding feedback. Recently I purchased some air tools. One of the...

Re: Is this wheel bearing shot??

Regarding the 175 ft lb torque spec for the axle nut, how many of you guys actually torque the nut to the spec or do you just blast it with the impact wrench? Just wondering if I need to rent a torque wrench that goes to 175 ft lbs.

Is my ball joint shot, or is this normal play??

Would you consider this ball joint shot or normal play? The bottom ball joint has zero play, only the top.

Is this wheel bearing shot??

Some of you might have seen my posts regarding a knocking sound, front driver side, when my tire comes in contact with a bump. Well today I decided to tear into my front end and get to the bottom of what is going on. Before tearing into the balljoints I inspected the wheel bearing, I believe it is t...

Please count me in on this one...

I have watched countless youtube videos of people upgrading R&P. From what I have seen it doesn't look hard, just time consuming.

Re: wesley4x4

Just a couple suggestions.. You might want to move the CB antenna to the rear of the jeep, when wheeling that antenna might get torn off and cause damage. Have you looked into a firestick antenna mounted with the following bracket http://www.quadratec.com/products/16180_00.htm ? Do you keep your CB ...
